A couple of weeks ago, a friend posted about a book and a club,
and asked who would join her.
The book is called One Thousand Gifts, written by Ann Voskamp.

The book is called One Thousand Gifts, written by Ann Voskamp.
I read a little about the book, had some Amazon gift cards from SwagBucks, so thought....why not!
Then on Saturday I received an email from DaySpring Devotions highlighting this book.
The following is taken from the email.

Open your eyes to ordinary amazing grace. Life is sometimes dark, gritty, and tough, so how in the world do you find joy? How do you live really, fully alive? How do you see what God is providing right here? How do you find God?
In One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are, Ann Voskamp shows you how to practically unwrap the gifts God gives to us, see the beauty right there in front of us, and embrace the God all around us.
Through Ann's heart-breakingly beautiful stories, she offers a profoundly powerful guide to finding joy wherever people live. Even in the darkest moments, in the midst of everyday challenges, you can discover an ancient way of living that is deeply, fully alive. Joy really is possible. Right now.
A book that will change your life.
A trailer that will make you weep wonder.
A community that will welcome you home.
A whole community is gathering on the Bloom (in)Courage Book Club to read the best-selling, soul transforming book, One Thousand Gifts. We'd love for you to join us -- good friends share good words. Visit Bloom on (in)courage for details.

After looking in to the book a little more, following a few web links, I have no idea what to expect.
But I'm expecting God to move in me.
I look forward to seeing how the Farmer, the book, the experience, the book club members will help me grow and love God and Jesus even more.
As I started reading a few pages of the book last night, one of the pages stated this:
For the Farmer,
who tended and grew my soul.
As a farmer's daughter (for almost 31 years now), I never thought about truly being a Farmer's daughter.
I LOVE it!
I LOVE it!
I AM a Farmer's daughter.
Lastly, just looking at her website:
I know this is going to be quite the journey. Will you join me?
If you go to Ann's website, you can download the first chapter of the book.
Are you ready to see the Farmer work and move in your life?
