I Might Be......Overwhelmed....Again!

Below is a repost from last February.
At the time, the program I work for was in the hiring process for a new Program Advisor.

Well, it looks like we will be at it again.
Only this time, I have no idea when the hiring process will even begin.

That means a whole lot more on my plate than just a couple months of extra visits.
It might be like this until the end of the school year.
I have no idea!

In addition to my normal position, I also do some other office work {that I don't get paid for}.
So now adding on another half of a position...this could get exciting!

It was great to go back and read that, especially the link I shared.

This past weekend in church, the message was on worship.

So, during this time of chaos, I will worship the One who has blessed me.

-----------------------------------

Holy cow folks!

I don't even know where to begin.

I might be getting a little anxious about work.
I might be overwhelmed with everything.
I might be nervous about the potential new hire {who I will be sharing an office with and helping with some of the transition into the position}.
I might be wondering how I will get everything done.
I might be wondering if I will overlook any of the additional students I'll be serving or miss meeting their needs.

I might be....OVERWHELMED!!

Starting today, I will be in the office only 1 more full day {and 2 partial} this month.
Then in March...I believe I'll be in the office 4 days until the last week of the month.

This isn't normal for me!  I'm use to being in the office 3 days a week.  So going from 3 days a week, to not even 3 days in a month, I'm overwhelmed!

While I was sitting here at my desk looking at my schedule and figuring out what I will be doing and trying to get my bearings straight, an email for a blog updated came in.

I took a break, and went to the blog to read.

Wow.  Just what I needed.

What I will be remembering during the next couple of months....

“Honk if you are happy” is really “To be happy, honk.”
“Give thanks if you are joy-filled” is really — “To be joy-filled, give thanks.”

Thanks Ann for getting my focus back to where it should be.

~Where the happiness is~

That should be with Christ.

Not a pitty party for me with what is going on at work/life.

But my happiness is found in Christ.

When I start feeling overwhelmed, I'll start honking

Well, maybe I'll just start praising God for all the ways He has blessed me, and the happiness it has brought.

Honking/praising for:
faith
family
friends
job
things big
things small

What will you honk for?

Feeling the same pressure here...and needed this focus too...as work assignments pile up, travel is scheduled, training prep unfolds. Arghhhhh. So I need to go honk...too.

Oh Amen! Amen! What a great post!Isn't it such a blessing that when we feel the most stress God comes along and shows us the way...we just have to be willing to look. Thank you for those words they helped ME. Blessings, Joanne
