Finally, I was able to attend a rodeo this year!
Nevermind that it was the collegiate rodeo at Iowa State University. It was still an enjoyable time.
From bare-back bronc riding...
to womens roping....
to steer roping...
then back to the broncs, but with saddles this time...
to team roping...
then to this 'new to me' event, goat roping...
back to some steers...to wrassle 'um!...
a few barrel racers...
and ended the night with some bull riding!
It was a nice night for a rodeo too. But about 3/4 of the way through, the wind picked up big time! And now as I sit here, almost 2 hours after the wind picked up, it is now raining. Sure glad the rain didn't come any sooner!

One of those pictures reminds me of your Carson... holding his hands up once he tied then steer up.
Oh, I do miss the rodeo! My father lives in Texas, and we used to go when I would visit him. But its been way too long since I have been able to go. :( Apparently there's one up here in Ohio, but it just doesn't seem the same!
